Customer Service Representative

The Role:
This is a customer service / customer support / customer experience role supporting
homebuyers after their inspection. You’ll confirm details, answer questions, capture feedback
about the inspection experience, and guide customers to the right next step - including
scheduling a consultation with our HomeBinder Assistant team when appropriate.
Most of your day is warm outbound follow-up (no cold calling), plus handling occasional inbound
replies/callbacks from clients you’ve contacted. Success here comes from strong follow-through,
clean documentation, and consistent execution.
You’ll receive structured onboarding, scripts, and coaching to help you ramp confidently and quickly.
Schedule & Availability
● Full-time: 30+ hours/week | Part-time: under 30 hours/week
● Full-time benefits (30+ hrs/week): Health / Dental / Vision + PTO.
● Our operating hours are 8:00 AM–10:00 PM.
● We are primarily hiring for shifts starting at 11:00 AM or later (especially
weeknights/evenings).
● The more weeknight availability you have, the better.
● Weekend shifts are rare, but occasional weekend availability is a plus when needed.
● Schedules are set in advance. We can offer some flexibility, but shifts are not fully
customizable.
● Shifts are assigned based on coverage needs; applicants with more weeknight
availability are prioritized.
What You’ll Do:
● Make outbound follow-up calls/texts (primary) and handle occasional inbound
replies/inquiries
● Provide customer support by confirming details, answering questions, and ensuring the
next step is clear
● Schedule consultations with the HomeBinder Assistant team when appropriate
● Gather feedback on the customer’s inspection experience and share key takeaways with
the team to improve quality
● Use our CRM/task system to document clean, accurate notes, update records, and
complete follow-up tasks (accuracy matters)
● Meet daily execution standards (calls, follow-ups, CRM tasks, documentation accuracy,
and consults scheduled when appropriate)
● Ensure each customer handoff is complete, consistent, and easy for the next team
member to continue.

● Customers feel taken care of - not pressured
● You follow through: you do what you say you’ll do, when you say you’ll do it
● Notes and tasks are complete and clear enough that anyone can pick up the thread
● Consultations are scheduled with the right context captured (clean handoffs)
● Your customer feedback helps identify trends and improve the inspection experience
over time
● You consistently meet execution and quality expectations
What We’re Looking For
● Strong communication and a calm, professional phone presence
● Excellent organization and follow-up habits
● Comfortable with phone work, documentation, and daily execution standards
● Comfortable working in a CRM/task queue (updating records, completing tasks, and
documenting outcomes accurately)
● Coachable: you like feedback and improve quickly
● Availability for 11:00 AM–10:00 PM coverage, especially weeknights/evenings; rare
weekends as needed
● Spanish-speaking (bilingual Spanish/English) is a plus, not required
Compensation
● Base pay: $13–$15/hour (based on experience)
● Performance incentives: paid monthly based on execution + quality/compliance
○ Incentives become available once you’ve completed onboarding and are
approved to work independently.
○ Ramp time varies by aptitude and execution quality - the faster you’re ready, the
sooner incentives begin.
○ Incentive earnings typically average $400–$900/month (varies by performance
and hours worked; prorated for part-time)
