Location: Ukiah, California – Lake Mendocino Recreation Areas

Job Description:

Nascence Group, LLC is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Recreation Area Janitorial Technicians to support janitorial and sanitation services at Coyote Valley Dam & Lake Mendocino Recreation Areas located in Ukiah, California.

The selected personnel will perform janitorial and cleaning services across public recreation areas, campgrounds, flush restroom facilities, shower buildings, vault toilets, picnic areas, and other public-use facilities throughout Lake Mendocino. Services will be performed in accordance with Federal contract standards and established cleaning schedules.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize public restroom and shower facilities
• Clean flush and non-flush restroom buildings
• Sweep, mop, disinfect, and maintain floors and surfaces
• Replenish toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other consumable supplies
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Remove litter and debris surrounding restroom facilities and walkways
• Clean mirrors, sinks, toilets, urinals, partitions, and fixtures
• Report vandalism, graffiti, damages, and maintenance issues
• Complete cleaning logs and daily service documentation
• Support emergency and special cleaning response activities when required
• Maintain safe and professional interaction with park visitors and Government personnel
• Travel between multiple recreation areas and service locations throughout the project site

Work Environment:

This position involves both indoor and outdoor work environments and requires walking, lifting, bending, and working in varying weather conditions. Personnel may be required to access remote recreation areas and campground locations.

Schedule Requirements:

• Weekend and holiday availability is required during peak recreation season
• Some facilities may require twice-daily cleanings during high visitation periods
• Morning cleaning shifts generally occur between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM
• Afternoon cleaning shifts generally occur between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial, custodial, campground maintenance, or facilities cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and maintain professional conduct
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and trash bags
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must comply with E-Verify and Federal facility access requirements
