MRF General Laborer

Ukiah Waste Solutions, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a General Laborer at our Material Recovery Facility in Ukiah, CA!

The starting pay will be $21.00 per hour. Pay range for this job category is $20-$21/hr. We also offer great family benefits, a 401k match, paid vacation, etc.

The schedule will be Monday - Friday 4am to 3pm, working 8 to 10 hour shifts. Overtime opportunity available.

Responsibilities Include:

• Sorting out garbage from the recycling material on the conveyor belt
• Bailing cardboard
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the recycling area
• Assuming custodial duties as needed, such as sweeping, and sanitizing
• Other manual labor as needed
• Operate a Forklift - training provided

Requirements:

• Must be able to will work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand continually through entire 8 hour shift
• Must be able to work outdoors
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
