About the Role

The EHR Support Analyst provides hands-on Epic support, training, troubleshooting, and workflow guidance across MCHC. In this role, you'll work closely with staff, providers, leadership, and OCHIN to resolve issues, introduce new functionality, and help users get the most out of Epic.

This is a great opportunity for someone who combines strong Epic knowledge with excellent communication, customer service, and training skills. You'll be successful in this role if you're approachable, solution-focused, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy helping others become more confident and efficient with technology.

What You'll Do

  • Provide daily Epic support to clinical staff, providers, and patient care teams through troubleshooting, coaching, and hands-on assistance.
  • Investigate Epic application, workflow, and equipment issues and follow them through to resolution, partnering with the OCHIN Help Desk when needed.
  • Train and support new employees and providers on Epic workflows, including coordinating system access and providing go-live support.
  • Provide ongoing competency and efficiency training for existing Epic users through one-on-one coaching, workshops, webinars, and other learning opportunities.
  • Maintain MCHC-specific Epic configurations, including preference lists, SmartPhrases, Provider Master Files, and other system setup.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong working knowledge of Epic or a comparable Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Experience supporting, troubleshooting, or optimizing clinical and operational workflows.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information to users with varying levels of experience.
  • Strong training and presentation skills, including the ability to lead end-user training.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organization, and customer service skills.

We Offer a Cadillac Benefits Package

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Paid Time off (PTO) and 9 Paid Holidays
  • Life Insurance
  • 401(k) with up to 4% Employer Match
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

If you’re an experienced Epic professional who enjoys leading teams, improving healthcare technology, and helping clinicians succeed, we want to hear from you!

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum two (2) years of EHR experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Epic EHR experience strongly preferred, particularly in training, support, workflow optimization, or application maintenance.
  • Experience facilitating trainings, workshops, or group presentations.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Outpatient clinical background (e.g., Medical Assistant or LVN).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and webinar/virtual platforms.
