  1. Job Description
At Sagetech Avionics, we deliver low SWaP (size, weight and power) certified avionics solutions that enable safe airspace integration and protect our warfighters.  We have recently won a major DoW prime contract to provide the APX-128 advanced IFF solution, and are looking for an experienced Program Manager to oversee overall contract execution.  The role is located onsite in our Bingen, WA facility.  This will be a leadership team role and reports directly to the CEO.
  1. Objectives of this Role
Contract Oversight
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Government Contracting Officer (KO) and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). 
  • Coordinate with the VP of Operations to ensure Delivery Orders (DOs) are met in a timely fashion, compliant with all contractual requirements.
  • Oversee the creation of quotes for new engineering services Task Orders (TOs) in conjunction with the Chief Technology Officer.  Receive, interpret and provide feedback on Performance Work Statements for new TOs.  Participate in negotiation of Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) rates for TOs.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Engineering and others to ensure all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) requirements are met in compliance with the contract.
  • Manage the Communications Security (COMSEC) program to support the contract.

Business Management
  • Identify risks to contract execution and develop mitigation plans.  Coordinate the execution of those plans with Operations and Engineering.
  • Provide financial (revenue and cost) forecasts to the CFO.  Identify and communicate downside risk and upside opportunities.
  • Identify, prioritize and coordinate the implementation of cost improvement projects associated with contract execution.
  • Lead cross-functionally to identify resource requirements and development business cases to justify staffing and capital investments.
  • Prepare executive briefings and status reports for Government and Company leaders and the Board of Directors.
 
  1. Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or business.  MBA preferred.
  • 2-3 years prior experience as a Program or Project Manager overseeing Department of War contracts.
  • Technical project management experience in an aerospace company.  Military electronics preferred.
  • Understanding of Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
  • The ability to obtain a Secret security clearance is required.  Active clearance preferred.
  • U.S. Armed Forces Veteran preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Cross-functional leadership – the ability to lead a matrixed organization towards a common objective.
  • Communication skills – ability to comfortably communicate with all levels of the organization and government customers.
  • Time management skills – ability to balance multiple simultaneous responsibilities and prioritize effectively.  Assist others with the same.
  • Resourcefulness – break down barriers to ensure timely task completion and program success.

Salary expectation $110,000 - $150,000 depending on skills and relevant experience.
