SUMMARY

The Driver will be responsible for delivering and unloading product to the customer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Loading and unloading orders using a hand truck
Greet customer, maintain professional relationship, and provide excellent customer service
Close and lock all bays when not in use and keep keys in your possession while servicing the account
Have invoice signed by customer for proof of delivery
Complete all scheduled deliveries in an efficient manner
Communicate with management regarding any delivery issues
Safely operate a company owned delivery truck
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers
Performs other related duties assigned

Requirements

REQUIRED

High school diploma or GED
Excellent attendance record
2 to 3 years driving experience
Forklift certification or recent experience
Valid in-state driver's license
Must have a good driving record (no more than 2 violations in 5 years)
Ability to safely lift and carry packages of various shapes, sizes, and weight
Ability to logistically plan routes
Ability to safely lift, push and pull 50 pounds or more
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude a must

DESIRED

Class A Driver’s License
Experience in loading/unloading
Knowledge of general vehicle maintenance
Excellent time management skills
Excellent communication skills
