Description

SUMMARY

The Shipping Associate will provide direction to a team of material handlers that receives, stores, and prepares finished products for shipment to customers. They will also interface with internal/external customers, vendors, and delivery companies including GCM Drivers to deliver parts.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide guidance, instruction, and training to department employees
Maintain inventory control
Assure data is correctly captured in ERP system
Plan transportation of shipments
Maintain packaging supplies
Assure quality packaging and shipment of orders
Collaborate with Customer Service
Operate forklift or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments
Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers
Performs other related duties assigned

Requirements

REQUIRED

High School Diploma or equivalent
2-4 years of progressive experience working in domestic and international shipping
Prior ERP Software experience
Forklift driving experience
