Job Description:

Location: Larry Moore located in Union City, GA

Part Time-20 hours a week

On-Call Requirement: This position requires availability for on-call duties 24/7, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to respond to maintenance emergencies as needed. Monthly Mobile Allowance

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician ensures the proper operation, safety, and upkeep of senior housing facilities. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. This role also involves supervising junior staff and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and necessary repairs.

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in common areas.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.

  • Supervise and train junior maintenance staff.

  • Manage maintenance supplies and equipment inventory.

  • Maintain records and report maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED; vocational training preferred.

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience (residential/senior housing preferred).

  • Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Relevant certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

Work Environment:
Indoor and outdoor senior housing facility settings with potential exposure to varying conditions. May require on-call availability for emergencies, including evenings and weekends.
