Summer Internship - Quality Systems & Standards: Support Periodic Review of Documentation at Union City site
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented intern to support the Union City site by collaborating with Department Managers on transferring legacy documents into updated templates as part of the Periodic Review process. The intern will facilitate the migration of documents, coordinate with subject matter experts to review and revise content, and ensure all documentation meets site procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Work on projects related but not limited to the following:
- Document Review: Support the periodic review of SOPs, work instructions, forms, and related documents to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Template Migration: Transfer existing document content into new standardized templates, ensuring consistent formatting and structure.
- Quality Checks: Conduct basic quality checks on revised documents to confirm correct formatting, version control, and compliance with document control procedures.
- Collaboration: Partner with document owners, subject matter experts, and the Quality team to clarify content and resolve any discrepancies during the update process.
- Tracking & Reporting: Maintain logs to track document status, review progress, and template migration activities.
Internship Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with experience in formatting Word documents; familiarity with quality management software is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Enrolled in a degree program during the Spring term prior to the internship.
- Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong analytical and statistical abilities.

If the selected candidate is a student pursing a Graduate-level degree: $32.50 per hour
If the selected candidate is a student pursuing a Doctorate-level degree: $36.00 per hour
