Job Title: Thermo King Technician

Peak Thermo King is seeking an experienced technician to perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on Thermo King refrigeration units and semitruck trailers.  Generally works on site as repairs are needed at various locations.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment and truck/trailer systems.
• Diesel system maintenance – including fuel system cleaning and maintenance.
• Drive excellence in customer service through proactive communication and meeting commitments.
• Follow established technical and administrative processes.
• Makes trailer repairs and updates as needed.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections for federal and state mandated safety requirements.
• Participate in OEM and other training and safety programs.
• Drive to meet and exceed productivity, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction standards.
• Always considers updates and developments to ensure ongoing efficiencies and development of the department.
• Works on rotating on call schedule as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Refrigeration and/or truck/trailer mechanical repair experience.
• Possess standard mechanic’s tools as required to perform assigned duties.
• Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment.
• Experience using a computer.
• Safety conscious attitude and work practices.
• Clean driving record and ability to maintain clean drug screens.
