The position available is for a Heavy Duty Trailer Mechanic at a family-owned company established in 1973.
Candidates must have at least 1 year of mechanical experience and be able to perform quality inspections and maintenance on trailers.
The job includes working on various systems such as suspension, brakes, air, electrical, and pneumatic, as well as handling service calls and working outdoors when necessary.
The role offers a salary range of 40 - 55 hours per week and includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a 401(K) plan.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, and while a CDL Class A is not mandatory, it is considered a plus.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Perform quality inspections and regular maintenance on trailers

. Repairs on suspension, brakes, air, electrical, and pneumatic systems

. Tires

. Must be able to work on top of 13' trailers as well as underneath

. Service calls in service truck

. Must be able to work outside when necessary

. Own basic tools

. CDL Class A not required but a plus

. Welding and fabrication experience a plus but not necessary

. Valid Driver License, reliable transportation

. Must be able to lift 50 lbs

. 40 - 55 Hours a week

EXPERIENCE:

. Mechanical Experience 1 year (Required)

This job requires a combination of standing, sitting, climbing,

bending, and walking as well as excellent visual and auditory skills to be able to inspect trailers and clearly communicate with the other mechanics.
