Overview:
Here at ABiLITY, becoming a Direct Support Professional (LO-DSP) in our Life Ops Day Program allows you to be part of a team in a fun, long-lasting, and rewarding career—they act as a connection between people with developmental disabilities and their communities.

Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age at the time of application
- Experience working with individuals with developmental, cognitive, or intellectual disabilities is preferred, but not required.
- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or be enrolled in a general equivalency program at time of application
- Valid driver's license
- Valid state minimum auto insurance
- Willing to operate an agency vehicle to transport individuals for community outings/routes
- Must be able to pass DOT physical
Certifications (if do not possess, must be will to obtain)
- Class E Chauffeur License
- Level One Medication Aide (L1MA)
- First Aid/CPR/AED
- Crisis Prevention
- DOT Physical Certification
Availability:
- Day availability – Life Opportunities program runs M-F 8am-3pm, some flexibility, no weekends
- Union, MO, Washington, MO, driving multiple locations in Franklin County, MO
- Additional requirement to support AM and PM transportation routes to/from services
Pay Breakdown:
- $20.00 per hour
Status:
- Full time (30 plus)
