Description

  

  • Lead the design, administration, and ongoing evolution of the company's compensation programs.
  • Conduct market analyses and benchmarking to ensure compensation remains competitive and aligned with our talent strategy.
  • Develop and maintain salary structures, job levels, pay ranges, and compensation guidelines.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders on compensation decisions for new hires, promotions, transfers, and other employee changes.
  • Lead or support annual compensation planning, including merit increases and incentive programs.
  • Analyze compensation data to identify trends, internal equity considerations, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide thoughtful guidance to leaders on compensation practices and help translate complex compensation concepts into clear recommendations.
  • Monitor evolving pay transparency and compensation-related requirements and help ensure company practices remain compliant.

Benefits

  • Manage the administration and ongoing evaluation of employee benefit programs, including health and welfare, retirement, leave, and other offerings.
  • Lead annual benefits renewal and open enrollment activities, partnering closely with brokers, carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Evaluate plan utilization, costs,  market competitiveness, and employee needs to recommend benefit enhancements and cost-effective solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships and hold partners accountable for service, accuracy, and results.
  • Oversee benefits communications  and help employees understand and appreciate the value of their total rewards package.
  • Ensure benefits programs are administered accurately, consistently, and in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, technology, reporting, and the overall employee benefits experience.

Analytics, Compliance & Partnership

  • Develop meaningful compensation and benefits reporting, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making.
  • Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of compensation and benefit costs.
  • Maintain strong controls and data integrity across compensation and benefits processes.
  • Stay current on market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging total rewards practices.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert and trusted resource for employees and leaders.
  • Balance business needs, employee experience, competitiveness, compliance, and cost when developing recommendations.

Requirements

  

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive compensation, benefits, or total rewards experience, including experience managing complex programs.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation benchmarking, salary structures, job evaluation, and market pricing.
  • Hands-on experience administering and evaluating employee benefit programs.
  • Experience working with benefits brokers, carriers, compensation survey providers, and other external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear insights and practical recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with HRIS, benefits, and compensation systems.
  • Working knowledge of applicable compensation and benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly to employees and leaders.
  • Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative, service-oriented approach combined with the confidence to provide expert recommendations and challenge assumptions when appropriate.

  

Required: CCP, CEBS, SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or other relevant professional certification.
