The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production equipment and systems. This role includes troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment, supporting facility operations, and ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with established maintenance programs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on a variety of equipment including pumps, air compressors, boilers, motors, and AC/DC drives

  • Perform testing and diagnostics using electronic instruments

  • Connect and disconnect electrical equipment wiring as required

  • Complete equipment repairs, routine maintenance, and calibrations

  • Set up equipment and provide technical assistance to equipment users

  • Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for repair and diagnostic purposes

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions

  • Perform equipment alignment using proper tools and procedures

  • Manage and maintain spare parts inventory

  • Perform building and facility maintenance as needed

  • Obtain and complete maintenance work orders and Orange Tags

  • Follow established Preventive Maintenance programs and perform routine PM tasks

  • Respond to emergencies identified by the shop floor, plant alarm systems, or plant management

  • Work cooperatively with others and support a team‑oriented environment

  • Perform miscellaneous duties as necessary to support business operations

Qualifications Include:

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment

  • Experience working with industrial equipment such as motors, pumps, compressors, boilers, and drive systems

  • Experience performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and equipment calibrations

  • Experience supporting facility or building maintenance preferred

Required Skills:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment

  • Ability to safely connect and disconnect electrical wiring

  • Proficiency in using electronic testing and diagnostic instruments

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

  • Ability to perform equipment alignment using proper tools and procedures

  • Ability to follow Preventive Maintenance programs and maintenance work orders

  • Ability to respond appropriately to equipment and facility emergencies

  • Basic math and problem‑solving skills

  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
