Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Sourcing Manager to lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance. This role is responsible for identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a proven track record of building supplier partnerships that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with company goals and operational requirements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to improve supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and quality.
  • Conduct market research and spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and sourcing risks.
  • Lead RFQ, RFP, and bid processes to secure the best value for the organization.

Supplier Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Establish supplier performance metrics and conduct regular reviews.
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers to improve quality, delivery performance, and service levels.
  • Address supplier-related issues and develop corrective action plans when necessary.

Contract Negotiation

  • Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, terms, and service agreements.
  • Ensure contracts mitigate business risk while maximizing value and performance.
  • Monitor contract compliance and support renewal negotiations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Logistics teams to understand requirements and support business objectives.
  • Participate in new product introductions and strategic business initiatives.
  • Align procurement activities with inventory management and production planning goals.

Cost Reduction & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive annual cost savings initiatives and productivity improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, process improvement, and value engineering.
  • Monitor market trends, supply chain risks, and industry developments to proactively address challenges.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing supplier relationships and sourcing initiatives.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations Field or related field.
  • Experience within manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments.
  • Professional certification such as CPSM, CPM, CSCP, or APICS certification.
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations.
  • Knowledge of supplier risk management and international sourcing practices.
