POSITION TITLE:

Operator Assistant

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Packages Work in Process (WIP) and finished product on production lines according to work instructions and/or customer specifications.  Reworks nonconforming product.

 MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Packages WIP and finished product from RTF and/or Printing lines
• Runs the scoring machine
• Reports any non-conformances noted during packing to the operator
• Reworks nonconforming product in accordance with documented work instructions
• Works 12 hour shifts standing on concrete
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Go up steps periodically throughout the day
• Work in the heat
• Performs other designated duties as assigned
• Conducts duties according to plant safety policies and procedures

AUTHORITY LEVEL (if applicable):

EDUCATION:  

Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

Required: Successful completion of all training modules for Operator Assistant position.

SKILLS:

Required:  Additional training requirements are identified and arrangements for the training made when needed.
