Direct Hire Director of Nursing Role $55 to $56 per hour in Uniontown, Pennsylvania

This highly-rated facility offers a complete range of skilled nursing, long term and rehabilitative services for patients who are recovering from an illness, injury or major surgery. This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY (not contract).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and direct all nursing service activities to ensure the highest standards of care for residents.
  • Provide leadership and professional development to nursing staff through structured in-service education and training.
  • Collaborate with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times.
  • Evaluate and improve nursing care practices to ensure optimal quality and efficient utilization of resources.
  • Oversee compliance with federal, state, and facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Serve as a liaison between administrator, nursing staff, residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that prioritizes the dignity, rights, and well-being of all residents.
  • Participate in strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with other members of the leadership team.
  • Other duties as assigned

Key Requirements:
  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license within state of practice
  • Bachelor’s (BSN) degree in Nursing preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a nursing community or other related healthcare community, preferably in long term care.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from the American Heart Association

Compensation and Schedule:
  • Pay rate starting at $52 per hour but can be more based on education and years of experience
  • Comprehensive benefits plan
  • Monday - Friday with occasional weekends
