We are seeking a Pharmacist to support our Uniontown, PA pharmacy location. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care while supporting pharmacy operations and workflow efficiency. 


The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance in all aspects of pharmacy operations, including medication review, patient profile management, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Candidates must be licensed in Pennsylvania.



Main Responsibilities

  • Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness, including drug selection, dosage, and potential interactions
  • Maintain accurate patient profiles, including medical history, lab data, and concurrent medications
  • Ensure appropriate lab monitoring for high-risk conditions and collaborate with the healthcare team as needed
  • Maintain all required documentation in compliance with federal, state, and company policies
  • Report medication-related errors to the Pharmacist in Charge
  • Support day-to-day pharmacy operations, workflow, and quality assurance initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical preparation and practices
  • Active Pharmacist license in Pennsylvania


Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of pharmacist experience, long-term care experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and clinical judgment
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and locations
  • Proficiency in pharmacy systems and software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Schedule

This is a full time, onsite position based out of our Uniontown, PA location. Work schedule and hours may vary based on business needs, operational demands, and site requirements, including potential evenings or weekend coverage as needed.
