JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Penn State Engineering LibraryĀ locatedĀ in the ECoRE Building on the University ParkĀ CampusĀ isĀ currentlyĀ lookingĀ forĀ staffĀ whoĀ areĀ availableĀ beginning in theĀ Fall 2026Ā semester and continuing into Spring 2027 and beyond. Currently, we are looking for applicantsĀ who can work on WednesdaysĀ with morning and afternoonĀ availability onĀ other days asĀ well.Ā This is a part-time position that willĀ work onĀ an assigned weekly schedule with theĀ optionĀ to take extra shifts. Hours andĀ scheduleĀ for each semester will vary.Ā
TheĀ idealĀ candidateĀ isĀ aĀ warmĀ andĀ outgoingĀ teamĀ memberĀ withĀ aĀ strongĀ workĀ ethicĀ andĀ aĀ firm commitment to providing the best possible user experience. Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
