JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Eberly College of Science Summer Undergraduate Research ExperienceĀ (SURE) program is a 10-week summer training program designed to give motivated Penn State undergraduates in the college the opportunity to engage in full-time (40 hoursĀ per week) research and related professional development activities.Ā Undergraduates will work on specific faculty research projects outlined by their facultyĀ member. These research projects were previously discussed andĀ outlineoutlinedĀ with their facultyĀ memberĀ inĀ previousĀ meetings. The goal of the Eberly College of Science SURE program isĀ to offer studentsĀ an immersive and hands-Ā on researchĀ experiences that will help themĀ determineĀ if they want to pursue a career in research while they develop skills for success at Penn State and beyond.
