Job DetailsJob Location: Upland, CA 91786Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $20.00 - $24.00 HourlyPOSITION SUMMARY Successful candidates will have a can-do attitude, safety focus, able to work independently and on a team, and lots of energy.   It is the responsibility of warehouse person to work as a valuable member of the branch, to support branch operations through efficiency and accuracy in the warehouse, while observing the principals stated in Stellar’s Mission and Vision statement.     ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES More specifically, it is the responsibility of the Warehouse Associate to: Accurately and efficiently pick, pack and process customer orders and transfers: Understand basic ERP system (P21) Order Entry and Transfer Entry functions Use the ERP system and WWMS (Wireless Warehouse Management Solution) to accurately pick customer orders and transfers Pack orders and transfers properly for shipping, with appropriate paperwork and labeling Accurately prepare and ship orders using ERP system and UPS system, recording shipments properly and shipping using instructions from order Perform all above tasks while meeting the company standards for safety and security Accurately receive, put away and cycle count inventory: Understand basic Purchase Order (PO) Entry function Accurately record receipt of PO and transfer items in a timely fashion on the same day that it arrives Process any problem shipments timely and accurately, communicating immediately with the proper departments Accurately put stock away in a timely and quick manner in appropriate, assigned warehouse locations Perform accurate and timely cycle counts based on branch commitment to 100% count 2X annually Conduct yourself as a responsible Stellar employee and co-worker: Understand Stellar’s mission and vision Always display a consistent positive, can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment Keep your work area clean and neat, free of safety hazards   Work as part of your team, supporting others in your department to meet our branch and company goals Willingly help others in the company when called upon Maintain personal responsibility for your actions Maintain constant and clear communication with your manager on impediments to progress or suggestions for improvement opportunities   SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES   No supervisory responsibility QualificationsREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Proficient with MS Office Must be able to learn and operate a forklift Requires standing, stooping, reaching, walking, and sitting for continuous periods of time Must be able to lift 50lbs on a consistent basis and up to 75lbs on occasion Must be able to perform repetitive work with your hands and arms Basic understanding of 5S strategies and ISO highly desired   EXPERIENCE Previous Warehouse related experience is desirable, but not required   EDUCATION   High School diploma or equivalent.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS   Moderate to considerable physical effort that includes working from ladders in awkward positions. Frequent use of light or medium weight objects (e.g., 25-50 lbs) and use of medium weight tools.   HAZARDS Marginal to moderate hazards that are typically predictable or well protected against FLSA STATUS   Hourly
