Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one care for a client in a nursing facility located in Hilliard, Ohio. This full-time position offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to make a direct impact through attentive, personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, individualized nursing care under the direction of an RN or physician.
- Assist the client with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Perform assessments for respiratory failure and seizure activity, documenting and reporting findings promptly.
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with facility and state regulations.
- Conduct range of motion exercises to support mobility and comfort.
- Encourage and assist with cognitive maintenance and stimulation activities to promote engagement and mental wellness.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation while ensuring compliance with all healthcare standards and facility procedures.
Qualifications
- Active and valid LPN license in the state of Ohio.
- Current CPR certification (BLS preferred).
- Medication administration certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience, preferably in long-term care, skilled nursing, or one-on-one client care.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Recent negative TB test or chest X-ray.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
