CES has partnered with a leading wholesale distribution company in Springfield, Ohio.  They are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with month end close experience.  The company is flexible and family oriented.  Range is 80-90k.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation, accuracy, and timely production of monthly financial statements

Monitor actual spending against budgeted allocations and provide variance analysis

Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and company accounting policies

Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to minimize risk of errors, omissions, and fraud

Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure daily and weekly tasks are completed accurately and on schedule

Assist with the preparation of the annual budget

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred

Proven experience in financial reporting and general ledger management

Strong knowledge of GAAP

Experience developing and enforcing internal controls

Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
