What You'll Do
As our Cook, you'll play an essential role in creating an exceptional dining experience by:
- Preparing and cooking fresh, flavorful meals following approved menus and recipes.
- Presenting meals with care to create an enjoyable dining experience.
- Following all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
- Maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and dining area.
- Working closely with nursing and leadership teams to accommodate special diets and resident preferences.
- Ensuring compliance with ServeSafe guidelines and state regulations.
- Helping create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where residents enjoy gathering for meals.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous cooking experience required; experience in senior living, healthcare, or memory care is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassion for older adults and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 pounds.
