At Level Green, you'll be part of a culture that encourages the open exchange of ideas, community involvement, and a strong commitment to safety. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the machines that help us beautify the greater Baltimore, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia areas.
What we're looking for:
- Expertise in small engine repair, particularly 2-cycle engines used in grounds care, landscaping, and snow and ice equipment
- The proper methods of servicing landscaping equipment and the repair and adjustment of power mowing equipment.
- Working knowledge of the general operation of gasoline, diesel, and electric-powered equipment.
- Ability to change oil, hydraulic, and all other necessary fluids in a variety of different vehicles and equipment.
- A solid understanding of servicing and repairing power mowing equipment
- Confidence in changing oil, hydraulic, and other essential fluids across various equipment
- Familiarity with Toro commercial stand-on mowers and general knowledge of gasoline, diesel, and electric-powered equipment
- Tech-savviness and the ability to quickly learn new computer software
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with a knack for troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills and experience managing shop personnel
- Safety-focused individual with the ability to maintain a clean and secure workspace
- Knowledge of tire repair and maintenance.

You may be a good fit if you can:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on landscaping equipment, including stand-on mowers and small two-cycle tools
- Assist in keeping the parts inventory clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Be physically capable of lifting and handling objects weighing at least 50 lbs
- Exhibit independence and resourcefulness, performing tasks with minimal supervision
- Stay motivated and produce work that reflects high-quality company standards
- Availability to work off-hours during snow events
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) are a plus
- Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
- Willingness to travel to various branch locations (mileage reimbursed)
- Provide your own tools for the job
- Possess DOT Medical Certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Salary: $22-$27.50 per hour
