Full-Time Therapist 


Position Summary:

The Full-Time Therapist is responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to clients, including assessments, individual therapy, group facilitation, and crisis intervention. The therapist ensures timely and accurate documentation, collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, and supports clients in achieving their treatment goals. This role is essential to maintaining compliance, productivity standards, and the mission of Mettle Works Behavioral Health Agency.


Key Responsibilities:


Clinical Services

- Conducts comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning.

- Facilitates individual therapy, family therapy (if applicable), and group sessions.

- Provides crisis intervention, safety planning, and risk assessments as needed.

- Develops and maintains person-centered treatment plans aligned with agency standards and regulatory requirements.

 

Documentation & Compliance

- Completes all required clinical documentation accurately and within required timelines, including progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and discharge summaries.

- Documentation is required to be completed within 48 hours after each appointment.

- Ensures documentation meets compliance standards for Medicaid, state regulations, and agency policies.

- Maintains confidentiality and adheres to all HIPAA guidelines.

 

Productivity Expectations

- Maintains a minimum caseload of 25 active clients.

- Meets productivity expectations of 40 billable hours per week.

- Participates in supervision, team meetings, and mandatory training sessions.


Collaboration & Agency Support

- Works closely with case managers, PRP staff, supervisors, supportive employment specialist, reentry department, and other team members to ensure continuity of care.

- Communicates effectively with external partners, including schools, hospitals, community resources, and referring providers.

- Supports agency initiatives, quality improvement efforts, and program development as needed.


Additional Responsibilities

- Engages in ongoing professional development and complies with licensure requirements.

- Maintains professional boundaries, ethics, and conduct consistent with state licensing boards and agency policies.

- Participates in audits, program reviews, or other tasks needed to support the agency’s operations.

- Performs other duties as assigned to meet agency needs.


Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.

- Current licensure or license-eligible status (LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, LCPC, etc.).

- Experience providing behavioral health services, preferably in community mental health.

- Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and crisis-management skills.


Work Schedule & Employment Details:

- Full-time, 40 hours per week.

- In-person 

- Must meet productivity and documentation expectations consistently.
