Job Description

We are seeking a detail oriented and analytical Purchasing Coordinator to join our growing team to support day-to-day procurement operations. This role partners closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure materials and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and delivered on time. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing hands-on purchasing responsibilities, reporting and vendor negotiations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Engage with Inventory on parts requirements for stock purchasing.
Review and process material requisitions
Evaluate supply chain availability and pricing to determine the optimal approach.
Once authorized, create purchase orders and distribute to vendors
Communicate via phone & email with the vendors and internal customers
Administer subcontractor processes and put work out to bid
Negotiate contract rates for external services and purchasing of materials
Contract all 3rd party technicians and equipment for installations and services.
Control delivery of various items required for construction site installation processes
Negotiate national deals for products and services we purchase
Create and manage purchase orders and documents related to 3rd party service vendors
Coordinate the process of purchase order receipt, invoice application for both MYISIS and SAGE PO
Assist with ad hoc assignments as assigned by supervisor

Who YOU are

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance on site

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
Experience with electronics, electrical components, or consumer products preferred
Vendor sourcing, pricing negotiation, and purchase order management experience
MISYS and/or SAGE experience preferred
Proficiency with Excel and data tracking tools

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, supply chain, or related field is a plus
