Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)

Salary: $115,000 - $120,000 per year

This remote counseling role is for an Iowa-licensed clinician who wants to provide practical, professional mental health care without the limitations of an office-based schedule. You will meet clients where they are through secure online sessions and help them receive support in a way that feels more accessible.

This position offers a structured Monday to Friday schedule and the opportunity to work with clients across Iowa through a fully remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

Provide virtual counseling services to clients located in Iowa
Assess client needs and create individualized care plans
Guide clients through concerns such as stress, anxiety, mood changes, relationship issues, and major life transitions
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and professional boundaries

Must hold an active Iowa license in one of the following accepted credentials: Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
Background in mental health counseling, psychotherapy, or clinical social work
Comfortable using telehealth platforms and digital records
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to work independently while staying organized and client-focused
