Job DetailsJob Location: Mail Services, LLC - Urbandale, IA 50323Job Shift: DayMail services LLC is looking for a full-time day shift maintenance technician. We are looking for a person that is highly motivated and a self-starter. The job is a combination of mechanical, electrical and computer troubleshooting and repairs.  The position also requires making tuning adjustments to the machines as they are running mail to optimize production. Previous technical repair experience required. The job involves repairing letter inserting and mail sorting equipment. Previous mailing equipment experience preferred but required. QualificationsEducation and/or Experience High school diploma or general education diploma (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer and math knowledge. Other Skills and Abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  Good organizational, communication, mechanical and technical skills.  Safe working habits. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.
