The Truss Production role is critical in the manufacturing and assembly of structural trusses used in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. The primary objective of this position is to accurately fabricate, assemble, and inspect truss components to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards. This role requires close collaboration with design engineers and production teams to interpret blueprints and optimize production efficiency. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment while meeting production deadlines. Ultimately, this position supports the delivery of durable, reliable trusses that form the backbone of building frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment, preferably in truss or wood product fabrication.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools used in wood or metal fabrication.
  • Commitment to following safety guidelines and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience specifically in truss production or carpentry.
  • Certification in construction safety or equipment operation.
  • Ability to operate computerized cutting or assembly machinery.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Cut, assemble, and fasten wood or metal components to construct trusses according to precise measurements.
  • Operate machinery and tools such as saws, nail guns, and presses safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect finished trusses for structural integrity, accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot production issues and improve workflow.
  • Document production activities and report any defects or discrepancies to management.
