GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Class B CDL with passenger endorsement

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Relevant experience in transportation, logistics, and/or fleet operations
  • At least 3 years of driving experience, in-state and out of state

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.

  • Vehicle scheduling and dispatch
  • Driver Coordination
  • Handling departmental trip requests
  • Experience with Fuelman and fleet management/driver management software
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance of college’s fleet with on-site mechanic
  • Maintain repairs and maintenance records of college’s fleet
  • Must be available for overnight travel, including single-night and multi-night trips, as required for assigned routes and events
