Dental Receptionist - Temporary Position

Orchard Endodontics

 

Our team works closely together to provide an excellent experience for every patient who visits our practice. Maintaining a supportive and positive culture is a top priority for us. We are seeking a friendly, organized Dental Receptionist to join our team in a temporary role. In this position, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the daily operations of the practice.

 

This is a temporary position from 4/27/26 through 6/12/26, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

 

Schedule: Full Time, M-TH 8a-5pm and Fri 8a-4pm

Please note that we are an emergency based practice, so occasional late days may occur depending on patient needs.


Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
  • Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
  • Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
  • Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of dental front office experience

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Experience with dental practice management software
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures
