Overview

Helio Health is on a mission to promote recovery from the effects of substance use and mental health disorders and other behavioral health issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, the Guest Services/Security will ensure safety of the patients/residents, and employees. This position will work out of our Insights of Helio Health program located in Utica, NY.

This position will be scheduled Monday-Thursday, 12:00pm-8:30pm, and Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible for a $1,500 Sign-On incentive!

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Ensures the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel and visitors on the premises.
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property & monitoring surveillance equipment.
Inspects buildings, equipment, and access points permitting entry.
Sounds alams in emergency situations, responds to emergencies to provide necessary assistance.
Responds to patient/resident inquiries and requests to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policies and procedures, and restraining trespassers.
Directing traffic.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements.
Complete security reports through observation and data collection, interviewing witnesses and obtaining statements.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
New York State Licensed Unarmed Security Guard Card preferred.
Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License.
Minimum of two years security experience preferred.
