Job DetailsJob Location: Herkimer Road Office - Utica, NY 13502Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $66,072.00 - $66,072.00 SalaryTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: DayBasic Function/Overall Responsibilities: Provide supervision to Foster Care Case Planners. Ensure the development, implementation and monitoring of an individualized and holistic service plan for all children and families.  Principal Assigned Responsibilities: Supervise and evaluate assigned staff with respect to overall job performance/ expectations per agency policy.  Participate in agency sponsored and outside training as directed by supervisor and agency policy and procedure.  In concert with the Foster Home Division staff and Clinical Manager, ensure that the Intake process meets all internal and external requirements for timeliness, documentation, and engagement of the child and his/her family.  Oversee and regularly participate in the service plan review process and conduct periodic case reviews with staff to ensure that it meets or exceeds all agency expectations.  Oversee and regularly participate in 72-hour meeting process and transfer process (both internal and external) with staff to ensure that it meets or exceeds all agency expectations.  In conjunction with the Director and Assistant Directors, ensure that regularly scheduled staff meetings occur and that specific program agendas are presented which focus on meeting the needs of children and families within program.  Ensure compliance with all agency and program policies and procedures.  Participate in ongoing new program development and refinement of existing program.  Participate in the interviewing and hiring process for the program in conjunction with the HR Central Hiring guidelines and procedures. Ensure that personnel issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner.  Participate in Performance Improvement activities as defined by the Quality Improvement Department  Participate in Utilization Review activities as defined by agency policy and procedure.  Ensures that the program's referral sources are kept up to date regarding status of cases. Ensure documentation and case management activities meet internal and external expectations. Will be in the Foster Care on-call rotation.  QualificationsEducation and Experience Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree with 18 months experience, working in a child welfare, behavioral health or foster care setting, supervisory experience preferred.
