How does 80 hours of paid vacation sound during your first year? We are seeking an experienced Jet Press Operator for our Vadnais, Minnesota facility. We offer comprehensive benefits including a 401k program with company match, an opportunity to earn up to 2 weeks of vacation in your first year of employment, first raise at 30 days then opportunities for raises every 90 days until top rate is achieved, and 9 paid holidays. 1stShift: Monday-Thursday 7:30am 3:30pm Starting pay is $20/hour (negotiable based on previous experience)  WHAT DOES MY WORKDAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE? Set up and run Halm Jet printing presses according to job specifications. Operate and monitor high-speed two-color Halm Jet presses to meet production goals. Load envelopes into press feeders while maintaining continuous production. Inspect and verify proper printing, labeling, packaging, and order accuracy to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain accurate counts of envelopes, boxes, cartons, and pallets. Remove paper jams and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues. Adjust ink and water roller pressures to maintain print quality. Perform routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE IN THIS ROLE HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS: Basic computer skills Strong math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills Knowledge of print quality standards and the ability to identify printing defects Ability to distinguish colors and identify print defects. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Effective communication skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift to 25 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior Offset Printing experience preferred  ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FUNCTIONS Stamina & Mobility: Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for the duration of a scheduled shift (8–12 hours). Must be able to frequently bend, reach, crouch, or stoop. Weight Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally from floor to waist and waist to shoulder. Manual Dexterity: Constant repetitive grasping and fine motor manipulation of paper materials and machine components. Range of Motion: Frequent twisting of the torso and lifting above shoulder height. Sensory/Vision: Must possess tactile/touch sensitivity in hands and digits. Near and far visual acuity, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required for quality control and safe machine operation. Work Environment: Ability to perform these functions in a manufacturing environment that may include high noise levels, varying temperatures, and paper dust.
