Job DetailsJob Location: Valdese, NC 28690DEPARTMENT:         Weave Room REPORTS TO:           Department Manager FLSA:                          Hourly Non-Exempt   Job Summary To repair looms and keep them in good running condition for the Weaving Department.   Essential Functions Work scheduled overtime Fix looms when flagged. Fix a simple job first. Note time on technician card. Enter declarations on Computrol. Lock out and tag loom while working. Return broken or damaged parts to supply room and exchange for new ones. Perform assigned maintenance on looms at warp outs. Report problem looms to supervisor. Report problem areas to technicians on incoming shifts. Patrol job and assist Card Changer/Samples (Sample Weavers)  with quality and production. Perform duties of Card Changer/Samples when duties listed under “essential functions” are caught up. Turn in a daily yardage report Perform other duties as assigned.   Safety: Maintain 5 S Standards of safety. Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers. Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards. QualificationsQualifications: Basic reading, writing, and math skills with high school or GED Mechanical aptitude Weaving and fixing experience required
