Â Tools and Equipment used: Electric scissors, electric cutter, tape measure, yardstick. Â Essential Functions: Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001 work instructions and standards: Roll out fabric to measure, mark and cut requested size on pattern sheet. Check to make sure the sample is woven correctly. Check if the sample is railroaded or not and cut accordingly. Cut samples needed on a pinking machine based on specifications. Help pull colorlines for shipping. Help sew headers on colorlines. Work scheduled overtime. Perform other duties as assigned. Â Safety: Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers. Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards. Maintain 5 S standards. Some heavy lifting required. QualificationsQualifications: Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others. Good reading, writing, and basic math skills.
