As one of the largest woven textile mills in the world, Valdese Weavers designs and manufactures residential and contract-grade fabrics for furniture manufacturers, fabric distributors, and large retailers ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Safety: Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers. Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards. 2. Attendance: Maintain personal attendance practices to meet established company goals. 3. Work Ethics: Maintain personal work habits, which meet the demands and stresses of the job. Meet deadlines and production quotas. Get along with co-workers. Follow instructions. Work scheduled overtime. Duties: Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001 work instructions and standards: Pre-haul yarn filling for card changers/samples. Keep yarn filling location full and neat. Keep track of special filling. Keep up with JBL desk. OTHER JOB ELEMENTS: Perform other duties as needed to do the job or as requested by the supervisor. Qualifications Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Scanning tickets for SAP. Good physical health. Ability to work overtime.
