Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hr Variable shifts, 40 hours per week.

Under supervision this position is responsible for the preparation of food for residents, patients, staff and special events. Sets up dining areas, washes and sanitizes dishes. Assures that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the Dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Required Qualifications:Â
- Upon hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority

Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training - Specific vocational training in food or nutritional training. This training can be provided in a school, work, military, institutional or vocational environment
- 6 months On the job training or experience in quantity food preparation in cooking, estimating food needed, requisitioning and storing food and supplies, basic principles of dietetics and principles and requirements of sanitation and safety in food handling
