Performs all the essential functions of the Registered Sonographer.  Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations. Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment of the patient's condition to determine appropriate testing protocol.  Provides a technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Coursework/Training    Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. 
  • National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within 1 year of hire. 
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. 
  • 9 months - Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 9 months - Ultrasound coursework experience in Breast, Vascular including clinical rotation.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
