路 Oversees the financial aspects of projects, ensuring they stay within budgetary restraints and align with organizational objectives.聽

路 Facilitates communication and collaborates between team members, management, and vendors to achieve project goals.聽

路 Processes and reviews construction invoices, verifies retainage, ensures timely payments to vendors.聽

路 Enters and reviews budget adjustments for compliance with City policy.

路 Reviews expense requisitions for appropriate coding.聽

路 Provides assistance to departments on matters related to budget allocations and reports.

路 Reviews expense reports and researches discrepancies to ensure expenditures remain within budgeted amounts.

路 Provides assistance to departments in preparing the operating fiscal year budget, capital plan, and position allocation list.

路 Prepares a variety of regular and special reports.

路 Assists in reviewing operational and financial budget proposals submitted by department heads and managers.

路 Assists in preparing and submitting operation and capital budget summaries for review by senior management and City Council.

路 Assists in the preparation of final budget documents.

路 Performs related duties.

Requirements

路 Knowledge of project life cycles.聽

路 Knowledge of AIA construction invoices and computation of retainage.

路 Knowledge of budget development and GAAP principles and practices.

路 Knowledge of relevant federal and state laws, city ordinances, and department policies and procedures.

路 Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs.

路 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

路 Skill in problem solving.

路 Skill in prioritizing and planning.

路 Skill in interpersonal relations.

路 Skill in oral and written communication.

路 Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to Accounting or Finance.

路 Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
