Job DetailsJob Location: Blue Ops - Valdosta, GA 31601Position Summary We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented materials / warehouse specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for shipping of finished product and aftermarket parts orders, receiving, inventory management, kan-ban management, material kitting and delivery to manufacturing.  You will bring extensive materials experience to participate in developing and implementing the materials management systems.  If you have excellent attention to detail, a passion for innovation, a servant heart for leadership, high commitment to safety and quality, enjoy working with teams and desire to produce the best products for our customers’ mission, we encourage you to apply! Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safety: Personally lead by example by adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Ensure PPE, tools, and material handling equipment is used correctly. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.  Ensure the warehouse and all material inventory areas are maintained to world class standards every day. Ensure all technology and equipment is used in a safe and appropriate manner. Execute all relevant material handling and chemical storage safety processes.  Execute all internal material management systems including shipping and receiving, AI base inventory control, cycle counts, FIFO, Kan-ban, kitting, and consumables management. Administer the aftermarket parts process to provide mission critical aftermarket support that ensures rapid uptime for our customers in the field. Administer the damage / defective process to ensure rapid response to issues in manufacturing. Execute all assigned supplier component testing and validation processes that are developed. Trouble shoot material issues such as damaged product and shortages to eliminate those problems for future builds. Participate in the design and creation and implementation of the new warehouse and materials related areas. Work with Facilities and Manufacturing to distribute and control all tools & equipment. Participate in efforts to reduce direct labor, material and inventory costs. Adhere to all company quality procedures. Required Qualifications 1-5 years warehouse/logistics experience ERP and materials management technologies experience Familiarity with OSHA and other manufacturing practices preferred Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work safely Confident computer skills to use Microsoft solutions Excellent communication and teamwork skills Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended periods of time Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policy May be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during assembly processes. Regular exposure to facility operations including noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment Occasional off-hours or weekend work required for emergency facility responses or projects as needed Requires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks.
