What Does a DSP Do?
As a Direct Support Professional, you help individuals with developmental disabilities live safe, independent, and fulfilling lives.
You will:
Support daily routines and activities
Help with meals and light household tasks
Assist with personal care (grooming, hygiene, dressing)
Encourage social activities and community involvement
Provide transportation to appointments or outings
Be a positive role model and advocate
No medical background required — just patience, reliability, and a caring attitude.
No Experience? No Problem.
We provide:
On-the-job training
Support to obtain DSP certifications
CPR/First Aid training
Ongoing coaching and development
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
At least 21 years old
Valid California Driver’s License
Ability to pass background screening
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
