Full job description
The Multifamily Property Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the apartment community. This role ensures common areas, amenities, and vacant units are clean, sanitary, and welcoming for residents, guests, and prospective tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain all common areas, including hallways, stairwells, lobbies, offices, restrooms, laundry rooms, and amenity spaces
Prepare vacant apartments for new move-ins, including cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, floors, windows, and appliances when needed
Empty trash and recycling receptacles and maintain trash areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas regularly
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to management or maintenance staff
Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Follow all company policies and safety procedures
Provide courteous and professional service to residents and staff
Assist with special projects or deep cleaning as needed (e.g., after move-outs, renovations, or events
Work Schedule
Full-time depending on property needs
May include weekends, holidays, or flexible hours

Requirements
Qualifications
Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred (multifamily or commercial setting a plus)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety practices
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to perform repetitive motions and work indoors and outdoors
Must be able to climb stairs and work across multiple buildings
