Job DetailsJob Location: Dynatect Valparaiso - Valparaiso, IN 46383Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: GEDJob Category: QA - Quality Control  Dynatect Manufacturing Job Description   SUMMARY:  The Quality Coordinator will support the activities of the Quality Manager and Production Departments in day-to-day activities. Responsibilities will be to perform system, process, and product audits and analysis on a variety of products, including purchased parts, manufactured parts, and finished goods. Assist in the completion of first articles, certificates of conformance, and PPAPs.  Additionally, the Quality Coordinator will communicate with respective departments and management to resolve quality/process related issues using a formal corrective action process and coordinate with internal customers to identify system non-conformances and work as a team to implement immediate and permanent corrective actions.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:    Monitor and ensure product quality through audits, inspections, analysis, and reports. Gather, tabulate, update and distribute daily quality findings reports as required. Perform statistical analysis and capability studies as needed. Maintain and monitor gage calibration system. Provide assistance to operators and other production personnel with training for technical measurement equipment and blueprint reading. Perform quality process audits to ensure compliance to procedures and standards. Implement process controls for any critical quality characteristics. Maintain and revise controlled documents as required to comply with Dynatect, and ISO standards. Assist and maintain the corrective action process through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventative actions. Generate and distribute monthly quality reports and warranty analysis to verify system effectiveness and improvement. Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives with production teams. Perform and participate in internal and ISO audits when required. Ensure compliance to environmental standards through communication and understanding of requirements. Assist in new product/process development and launch when required. Review and manage customer return RMA process through part evaluation and repair. Create and distribute quality alerts when required. Create and approve certificates of conformance when required. Creation of ECRs when required. Creation of part deviations when required.   Miscellaneous other duties as assigned. QualificationsBASIC EDUCATION REQUIRED:        X High School Diploma or GED   Specialty Training Beyond HS   Associates Degree   Bachelor’s Degree Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Or equivalent job experience.   Master’s Degree   Other:         KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:    Ability to use standard measuring equipment (calipers, micrometer, height gauges, etc.) Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and Syteline, perform product and process audits, utilize sound problem solving skills to resolve and document corrective actions, knowledge of SPC concepts and can perform dimensional studies, FAI’s, C of Cs and PPAPs. Understanding of control plans, FMEA’s, and ability to perform process capability studies.   EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:    2-5 years’ experience in a quality related role in a manufacturing environment.
