Job DetailsJob Location: Dynatect Valparaiso - Valparaiso, IN 46383Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High School Job Description Welder 1st shift (6:00am - 2:30pm), 4:00am start time when working a 10-hour shift. 2nd shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm) 1:00am leave time when working a 10 -hour shift. General Responsibilities:    Set up welder for maximum weld strength.  Preform Mig and Tig Welding. Fit pieces and weld together per design. Read mechanical drawings and blueprints and measure products to specification. Operate hand and power tools. Operate forklift. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area. Actively participate in team and other company meetings. Perform miscellaneous other duties in department or the company as assigned. Physical Requirements:  Must be able to: Stand for 2/3 or more of the day. Use hands to grasp, hold, or pinch for 2/3 or more of the day. Extend the arm and hand in any direction 2/3 or more of the day. Lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) on a frequent basis.     QualificationsMinimum Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Previous welding experience preferred. Basic math skills: ability to read ruler, use tape measure and other measuring tools. Proven record of stable work history and good attendance. Must be able to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
