Position Summary: The General Maintenance Technician II completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.  

Pay: $28.50 per hour.

Schedule: These positions are on a 12-hour, rotating shift, schedule. Below is the shift we are hiring for: 

  • 3rd Shift: 6:00 pm - 6:30 am

Basic Qualifications:
•  Must be 18 years of age or older 
•  No experience required and on the job training provided
•  No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older 
  • A valid State Driver's License is required (MVR Check is Required)
  • 4-11 Years of experience as a General Maintenance Technician
  • Basic knowledge of proper use of power tools, hand tools.
  • Recognize various hardware parts and methods of repair for related tasks.
  • Must possess organizational skills.
  • Must be able to perform unsupervised.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities 
  • Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary  
  • Basic ability to perform tasks such as: 
    • Replacing faucets, unclogging drains, simple fixture installations 
    • Patching drywall, small touch-up painting 
    • Replacing sections of flooring (e.g., tile) 
    • Assisting with roof repairs (small leaks) 
    • Minor general repairs (door adjustments, tightening fixtures, clearing drains)
