We are seeking an Accounting Specialist II -Ā whoĀ will assist with the full-cycle accounts payable process, vouchering a high-volume invoices for processing, maintaining complex vendor reconciliations, as well as assisting the billing department with timely and accurate billing of warehouse orders. The Accounts Specialist II resolves discrepancies, ensures policy compliance and assists with month-end closing (accruals).Ā

Key Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Analyzes, prepares and processes payments for vendor invoices and other financial obligations in accordance with internal accounting policies; reviews documentation including but limited to purchase orders, invoices, receipts of goods, freight, discounts and amounts owed.Ā 
  • Maintains and reconciles accounts payable ledger.Ā 
  • Audits vendor statements, research aged invoices and resolves discrepancies in billings and payments
  • Match BOLs and accurately bill shipped orders from warehouses for invoicing
  • Work with Supply Chain, Customer Service and warehouses to resolve inventory/billing issues.Ā 

Ā 

Requirements:Ā 

  • Associate degree in accounting, business management, or related field; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience and that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities
  • 2 years progressive experience in an accounting roleĀ 
  • Experience in a B2B environment, ERP experience a must and knowledge of Accounts Payable automation software a plus.Ā 
  • Ability to effectively execute high volume processing.Ā 
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.Ā
