The Neil Jones Food Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative I at our corporate headquarters in Vancouver, WA. The Neil Jones Food Company processes superior quality, fresh packed, vine-ripened California tomatoes and Pacific Northwest fruit. With headquarters in Vancouver, Washington, NJFC has been providing our nation’s discerning foodservice, retail, industrial and institutional customers the finest quality canned and pouched products for over 35 years. NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA.

 

Summary:  

Responsible to handle all aspects of daily order fulfillment and general order management for assigned area/region of responsibility; assists customers with various requests for information; coordinates orders/deliveries with Brokers and Regional Sales Managers, warehouse personnel and supply chain/logistics as needed to provide timely service to customers.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Enters orders into order fulfillment system according to internal processes.
  • Utilizes Order Notes in order fulfillment system to document issues.
  • Confirms orders back to customers within the 48-hour timeline
  • Follow order through start to delivery process for high level of customer satisfaction
  • Coordinates with Supply Chain and Logistics/Transportation teams to ensure product availability for customer requirements.

 

Requirements: 

  • Knowledge and understanding of order fulfillment process and procedures and Company product lines.
  • Ability to use PeopleSoft order fulfillment application.
  • 1 year office administration experience.
  • 2 years’ customer service or sales and marketing experience in an internal service role.
  • Working knowledge with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook Email, Word and Excel.
