Summary: Accountants support the daily accounting operations of the dealership by assisting with account reconciliations, schedule cleaning, and accurate data entry. Responsibilities include reconciling general ledger accounts, assisting with deal posting, monitoring accounts, and supporting month-end processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial records. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with the automotive industry and experience with dealership management systems (DMS) is preferred. Roles and Responsibilities Processing new/used vehicle sales, dealer trades, wholesale transactions, and payoffs Preparing schedules and financial statements accurately under tight deadlines Ensuring adherence to tax regulations and company policies Month end close - ensure books closed accurately and timely each month including final review of reports Timely and accurate posting of all store transactions Qualifications Dealership accounting experience (preferred) Knowledge of schedules, reconciliations, and month-end procedures Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness Ability to work within payroll and reporting deadlines Collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Leadership Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision FSA/DCA Life insurance ID Protection Accident insurance 401(k) with match PTO/WA paid sick leave Vacation that increases with tenure Holiday Pay Discounts on parts, sales, and service
